I mean, he was never going to get the Mormon vote in this, but wow. To put it in perspective, there were also Romney cups over by the coffee pots, but no Obama cups to be found period.

This guy laughing his ass off after Paul Ryan had the balls to criticize cuts from Medicare in his RNC speech = the best part of the speech.

President Obama upon hearing about Romney-Ryan.

I keep reading that Mitch Daniels isn’t a likely VP pick because he has yet to make an endorsement and he doesn’t have the “personality factor.”

I wouldn’t be so quick to say that. As an Indiana native, I am no fan of Governor Daniels, but his consistently high approval ratings show the majority of the Hoosier state loves him (I mean, hell, they put up with those weird propaganda ads every night on WTHR and WISH-TV). He’s always been one to preach “Indiana first”, which is why he hasn’t endorsed during the primary season (though he proudly endorsed McCain-Palin in the 2008 general).

There was huge speculation about whether he would make a bid for the White House (and an even bigger push for him to go through with it). Plus, the proverbial dick-sucking that Daniels received from pundits and the GOP establishment following his response to the State of the Union is all the proof we need that he gets the right people excited.

I don’t like it either, but I still wouldn’t count out Romney-Daniels 2012.

I totally should have gone to CPAC.

I think I’d fit right in.
